In the Fall of 2002 Sandy Schmidt contacted Ohio Barns web site and asked if she could use the photos in a quilt she planned to make for the Bicentennial Quilt Challenge. The quilt would then be displayed at the Ohio State Fair in Aug. 2003.

Ohio Barns is a hobby web site and is happy to assist in projects like this. The photos were sent via e-mail and Sandy used them in displaying all 88 barns in an Ohio quilt pattern outlining each county.
