	The Point Reyes is about 800 feet above the Pacific, and the Lighthouse is on a ledge about 500 feet above the sea. It takes 307 steps up and down to get to it. The 2nd photo on the right is of a cypress tree from the top of the Head. (Gives an idea of how strong the wind is - 80-100 knots, according to the Ranger from the National Park Service.)
