built - 1814 by Abraham & Anna Herscher, 40X40, 2.5, stone/frame mill.

The first mill on this site was a saw mill owned by Andrew Herscher in 1789. The mill burned in 1814 before being rebuilt by Abraham. There was another fire in 1917 and it was rebuilt by W. W. Ruhl one story lower in 1918. It looks like it is used for storage today. Condition - Good
