Built - c1801 by Abraham Groff, 30X40, 2.5 stone mill.

AKA - West Earl Grist Mill

Notes are difficult to follow because of different spellings of Groff's name: Graaf, Graff, Groff, and Grove. A Zitter Grove owned a mill on this site as early as 1758. On the inside walls are several different stencils reading "West Earl Mill Family Flour by A. Groff". I have no idea when the mill was last used. In 2005 there is a farm maching dealership on the property. From looking at the inside, the mill must have been the office at one time. Today it is cluttered with used tractor parts and old paper work. The mill needs repairs. Condition - Fair
