Built - c1760 by John Herr, 40X50, 2.5, stone/frame mill.

AKA - Lefevers Mill

There is some confusion about mills in the area around the 1820s because John Herr paid taxes on three different mills. There were both Jr. and Sr. names used on these lists. The last operator was Lewis Snyder who closed the mill in 1924. Today it is part of an outdoor museum with some patched-together mill equipment. Condition - Very good
