Date Built - c1804 by H. Bates Grubb, 60X70, 2.5 stone/frame mill. Condition - Good

The first mill was a 1.5 story log mill built by J. Graybill. It was purchased by Peter Grubb in 1784 with 212.5 acres on which he built the Mt. Hope Furnace. A new mill was built c.1804. The mill burned & was rebuilt in 1904 as a barn.
