Snavely's Mill

Location:

North of Lititz, on Snavely Mill Road, along Hammer Creek. Go north through Lititz, pass a large car wash on the east side. Just past the car wash, turn onto Loop Road that leads off at a 45 degree angle. Then turn off onto Snavely Mill Road (which also goes off at an angle. The mill is a short distance up Snavely Mill Road.

AKA - Willow Bank Mill

Built - 1850 by Christian Eby, 54X96, stone mill.

There were 3 mills at this location. The first built between 1746-60 by Christian Eby, the second in 1790 by Christian & Catherine Eby of log. This mill burned in 1850 and was replaced with the present mill. The mill is still in operation today.

Condition - Very good
